If I already have my MyUT Mobile installed on my device, will this version be an automatic update?

No. MyUT Mobile is no longer supported and should be removed from your device. Please install the new version of UT Mobile using the App and Play Store links on our website.

How do I return to the home screen from other sections of the app?

Touch the menu icon at the top left to expand the features menu, then scroll to the bottom and touch "Home."

How do I add or remove shortcuts on the home screen?

Touch "Edit" at the top right of the home screen, select the features you want to add or remove, then touch "Done."

How do I sign in and out of the app?

Some functions, such as Courses and Student Account, require the app to identify you as a user. If you select one of these functions, you will be presented with a sign-in screen. Enter your UTAD ID and password to proceed. You can also sign in using the link at the bottom of the home screen or from the left menu.

When signed in, you can select the “Sign Out” link at the bottom of the home screen or from the left menu to sign back out.

How long will I remain signed in to app?

After 30 minutes you will be automatically signed out. You will need to reenter your UTAD ID and password.

What does the “Filter” option at the top right of News, Events, and Athletics screens do?

Touch “Filter” to narrow down the list of items displayed on the main screen of these features.

How do I see my current location in the Maps section?

First you need to enable this feature on your device (iOS: Settings – Privacy – Location Services; Android: Settings – Location). Then, when the UT Mobile app is opened for the first time after installation, you will be asked if you wish the app to access your current location. Be sure to accept this request. If you decline, you can change it later by going to your device’s settings.

If you have turned off these features, the Maps section will display the Main Campus by default. If these features are turned on but you are not currently located on a UT campus, the Maps section will display the campus that is closest to your current location.

How do I receive Notifications from the app?

The University will occasionally send you important messages, which appear as pop-ups or in your device’s notification center. The messages will also be available from the Notifications menu item. When the app is opened for the first time after installation, you will be asked if you wish to allow these messages. Be sure to accept this request. If you decline, you can change it later by going to your device’s settings and choosing “UT” from the list of available apps. You will also need to sign in to the app at least once before you can receive notifications.

How does “My Parking Permit” work?

Touch this item to see a list of parking permits you have currently registered with Parking Services. From here you can change the make, model, and license plate number of the vehicle associated with a permit, for example, if you are driving a different car to campus that day.

How do I get back to the main menu from College of Law?

The "College of Law" option replaces the left menu with a list of Law-specific features. To restore the main menu, just touch "Home" at the top of the Law menu.

How do I submit feedback to The University of Toledo?

The Customer Service screen allows you to select an area to comment on, then input the remarks you would like to submit. Your feedback will be forwarded to the appropriate individual, and you have the option to provide your name and email address or remain anonymous.

How do I clear the app's data cache?

Tap the app menu, go to “Settings”, and tap on “Reset” to clear and reset the app.

What should I do when I receive the error message

“No/Invalid response from server. Please try it again later”? Check that your device is connected to the Internet. If you still get the same error message, please try again later.
